A clutch from a great designer for a cheap price does not necessary mean wonderful. Look at this Bow Bag Clutch from Marc by Marc Jacobs and you will understand. This silver metallic leather clutch alone is okay but looks awful in the net overlay. Perhaps, the bag should be renamed as “Clutch in a Net” to attract some attention. Also, the two zipped compartments are so tiny that you can hardly hold anything inside. $250 is a great price for a Marc by Marc Jacobs purse, but not on this one! Retails at Net-A-Porter.
I’m back
Hi everyone, I want to apologize for not posting anything on the blog for the whole week. I am back and everything will return to normal from today! I had a wonderful holiday last week. I hope all of you enjoyed the Olympic games and at the same time, had a chance to get a handbag for Fall season;)

Juicy Couture ‘Z.J.N.’ Satchel
We’ve seen the classic terry and velour bags from Juicy Couture, right? But do you know that “Juicy Couture is a mix of California fantasy with English eccentricity”? That’s how the co-founder, Gela Nash-Taylor, described Juicy Couture to a Washington Post reporter. Gela continued the explanation with an interesting metaphor, “Think modern fairy-tale girl meets rock start, and they move into an old English manor house to become Juicy royalty.” Interesting?! Alright, let me get to the point. I am not a big fan of Juicy Couture but the Juicy Couture “Z.J.N” Satchel really caught my attention. When I first saw this bag, I thought it was something from Prada or Miu Miu. I know I was wrong once I saw the price. Their Fall Collection is a bit more grown-up and something new that we should pay attention to. This Juicy Couture bag is beautiful yet affordable. I love this red bag although it is also available in black. The red Satchel with soft leather has top zip closure and interior pockets. Retails for $450 at Nordstrom. How do you feel about this Juicy Couture Satchel?
Marc by Marc Jacobs Wristlet intrecciato clutch
It does look like a L.A.M.B. clutch, doesn’t it? But when you take a closer look at it, you’ll see the check pattern is finished with black and gold metallic leather instead of the L.A.M.B’s black and white pattern. This pretty thing is the Wristlet intrecciato clutch from Marc by Marc Jacobs. The purse has top zip closure, signature lock detail and a leather wrist strap. Measuring 8.5″ x 6.5″ x 1″, the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is perfect for evening. It looks nice with the black dress and shoes shown above, but you can also pair this purse with jeans for a more casual look! Available at Net-A-Porter for $260. Who gets the gold medal? Prada or Valentino?
Is it a coincidence or something that both Prada and Valentino have such a similar idea and design? Why these bags look so alike? The bags are from Fall Collection and the one on the left is the Prada Dome Bowler and the top handle bag on the right is from Valentino. The purses are made of lace with double handles and a ID tag. Let me see…Finally I found one huge difference between these bags. The price! The Prada bag is selling for $1995 while Valentino costs $3395! Usually I will pick Prada bags as my favorite but this time, the gold medal goes to the Valentino top handle bag!

I love the this white color not only because it is a perfect color for summer, but also it is easy to wear with anything in your wardrobe. Jessica and Kate already showed you how to carry the bag with jeans and casual wears! Other features include the African inspired bangles and magnetic snap closure which complete the plain slouchy exterior. The inside is lined in suede with a zip pocket.
