Introducing: Kara Ross Exotic Handbags
“Attention to detail” is what Kara Ross describes the key of “high quality”. After starting her company with Fine Jewelry about five years ago, Kara Ross expands her works of art to handbags, from clutches to shoulder bags, combining her passion for semi-precious stones with exotic skin. Kara expects women wearing her collections will have “an independent and unique sense of style, classic yet willing to take risks and stand out”. Kara aims to make unique jewelry and handbags with special textile and fabric in order to show a modern elegance with a vintage feeling in her designs.
Kara discovered her talent when her parents asked her to design a ring with a tourmaline stone taken during a trip to Africa. She dreamed of being a designer ever since. Nowadays, Kara’s collections are highly recognized and being featured in popular magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle as well as chosen by celebrities.
Share with you a couple of bags from the S/S 2008 collection that I like. The combination of exotics skin and fine craft work make her bags extraordinary and eye-catching. The company will start using other fabrics for Resort and S/S collection in 2009. Remember to keep an eye on that!
