Happy 4th of July!

Happy early 4th of July! There are two things I want to share with you all today. The first thing is BlueFly will offer an extra 10% off on handbags tomorrow. The sale starts tomorrow at 6:31am ET and ends at 6:30am ET on Saturday, Jul 5th.

The other thing I am happy to tell you is about the Louis Vuitton FireBird. One of our Handbaggers friends, Janka, wrote a very good article about the FireBird bags. Janka not only talks about the FireBird and Cartoon FireBird, but also gives the readers a little background of these bags and her comments on them! One more thing…there are a lot of wonderful pictures from Janka’s blog. So don’t forget to visit her blog and see them. Especially if you are a Louis Vuitton Addict! 🙂 Check it out!

Louis Vuitton New Print: Like it or Not?

LV New Print

Louis Vuitton fans! What do you think of the new print – “Monogramouflage” designed by Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami? According to the Fashion Week Daily,”the accessories in this new pattern will come in three shades of green and be sold at the pop-up Vuitton store in the Brooklyn Museum (part of the Murakami retrospective kicking off tomorrow) before selling at all other LV stores. Eager to see a handbag in the new print! 🙂

“Bag on Bags” would probably be one of the rules of this season. After launching Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag, Marc Jacobs seems to develop a similar idea on his new collection. I read through websites, blogs and forum and found many people’s negative opinions towards these bags. Well…“Mesh Lace Robert Bag On Bags” looks really weird and ugly. I would love to see the tote and the clutch as two pieces but not together. Otherwise, I think this idea is kind of different. What do you think?
