Happy early 4th of July! There are two things I want to share with you all today. The first thing is BlueFly will offer an extra 10% off on handbags tomorrow. The sale starts tomorrow at 6:31am ET and ends at 6:30am ET on Saturday, Jul 5th.
The other thing I am happy to tell you is about the Louis Vuitton FireBird. One of our Handbaggers friends, Janka, wrote a very good article about the FireBird bags. Janka not only talks about the FireBird and Cartoon FireBird, but also gives the readers a little background of these bags and her comments on them! One more thing…there are a lot of wonderful pictures from Janka’s blog. So don’t forget to visit her blog and see them. Especially if you are a Louis Vuitton Addict! 🙂 Check it out!
During the last few months, we have been discussing a lot about the Louis Vuitton new print, Monogramouflage. I am very happy to tell you that the Monogramouflage Collection is now available to purchase online at Louis Vuitton website and eLuxury.
The Speedy 35 on the left has a size of 7.1″ x 9″ x 13.8″ and is sold for $1530 while the Treillis on the right, with the dimensions of 9.4″ x 12.2″ 21.6″, is selling for $1610. The Treillis is the one I want the most among the Monogramouflage collection! It is a perfect bag for weekend and during the day. Many of my friends are talking about getting the Monogramouflage bags and accessories, so I guess the stocks won’t last long. Hurry up and order them online! Don’t wait until they are all grabbed by others!

Yes! Monogramouflage again!!! I was very excited when I saw these pictures from Here. Camocouture was a lucky girl who got a chance to buy all the Monogramouflage things that she wanted! I am not a big fan of Monogramouflage but I do like the iphone case and the jacket that she wore. Does anyone here buy/see any of the Monogramouflage products?
Thanks camocouture again for sharing the pictures with us! Want to see more? Click Here.

I read from forums to forums, blogs to blogs and see that people want this Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Neverfull so bad. There are a lot of rumors saying this bag will be released in May. It’s almost mid-May, I wonder when we can see it in stores. Some people said the LV tote has been released in Japan while the other claimed that Japan will be the first country to have it in late May. Well…we’ll see! 😀
The prices and sizes are expected to be very similar to those Monogram Canvas Neverfull, but I think prices do not matter to big fans of this LV bag, right?! I have no doubt that the Neverfull is wonderful but I am just not the kind of girl who should carry an open top bag even there is a hook for security. I bet all my stuff will have fallen out of the bag at least once before I go home. 😳 Anyway, can’t wait to see it in person!!! If you have any NEWS about this lovely bag, feel free to tell us in the comment section. Thanks!
Do you still remember the LV Monogramouflage that I wrote about last month? More than half of handbaggers do not seem to love the new print. Will you change your mind after seeing these pictures? I got these pictures from a very nice person (who wants her name to be anonymous). I really want to thank her for sharing the pictures with all of us. By the way, the first two pictures are canvas and the last one is denim. I can’t wait to see these bags in person!
The Poll I started about two weeks ago, “What is your most favorite designer brand?”, showed that most of the Handbaggers are big fans of Louis Vuitton. So let me introduce to you today the Louis Vuitton Monogram Motard Beforedark & Louis Vuitton Monogram Motard Afterdark.
Both bags are designed by Richard Prince again! Let’s have a round of applause to Richard for his wonderful work! The Beforedark bag on the left has a detachable chain strap with a size of 13.2″ x 7.1″ x 4.7″. You can carry it on your shoulder or as a hand-held. And the Afterdark clutch on the right is smaller with the dimension of only 3.1″ x 7.3″ x 9″ and it also comes in poudre color. Both clutches are made in monogram motard leather with flap closure and golden hardware. I think both bags are great for evening or dinner. But I prefer the Afterdark because of its smaller size, plus I don’t really like the chain strap on the Beforedark. Sorry! Avaliable at Louis Vuitton.
What’s your first thought when you see this picture? Louis Vuitton is doing some charity things? A poor child carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag? Or A poor child who also wants a little cute dog and a LV bag? No matter what the reason behind this picture, Louis Vuitton now has filed a lawsuit against a 26-year-old student artist, Nadia, who aims to sell posters and T-shirts, with an image of a child holding a LV-inspired handbag and a chihuahua, to raise money for victims in Darfur.
“Nadia told [TorrentFreak] that Louis Vuitton now demands $7,500 (5,000 Euro) for each day she continues to sell Simple Life products, $7,500 for each day their letter is published on the website and $7,500 a day for using the name “Louis Vuitton” on her website. In addition they want her to pay their lawyer costs and $15,000 to cover other expenses they have incurred in protecting their ‘intellectual property”.
Who is right? Who is wrong? Is the French fashion house over-reacting? Or they just want to protect their trademarks? You be the judge!
The LV Jokes Bags was sold out, the Pochette Bonbon Rose purse is the recent popular topic among handbag blogs, What’s next? How about this Firebird bag? These bags are all in the Summer 08 collection and designed by Marc Jacobs together with the American artist, Richard Prince. If you asked me whether I love the new Firebird bag, I would tell you I don’t know. But I found that people are very crazy for this baby. I really admire Marc Jacobs for taking the bold to make changes, adding value to this luxury brand and keeping LV brand vibrant. No doubt why he becomes so famous.
The velvet trimmed Firebird, featuring LV classic monogram, is big! Dimensions are 16.1″ x 14.1″ x 3.5″. The new shape, the creative design and the color combination really make this bag alluring and special. But the price is stunning, too! Is it worth $5400? Well…the fact that it is currently out of stock online should give you the answer.
Last week, I wrote about the LV new print – “Monogramoflauge” and from our vote result, it shows that, among a dozen of people, 9 out of them do not like the new pattern. I wonder if the result will relfect the reality? But I am still very excited to see a “Monogramoflauge” bag! I think sometimes we need to make changes to make our lives fun and exciting. The classic LV Monogram is fabulous but something new like the Tahitenne GM is also marvelous! The Tahitenne canvas with LV Monogram bag is inspired by the catalogue published in 1924. It has adjustable leather handles, golden hardware, inside zip pocket and protective studs at base. This LV bag measuring 8.3″ x 13.8″ x 20.8″ is great for picnic day or beach day. The $1160 bag comes in 3 other colors (menthe, sandy and lilac) but pink is my first choice. Currently, it’s not available online, call your local LV store for detail.
Louis Vuitton fans! What do you think of the new print – “Monogramouflage” designed by Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami? According to the Fashion Week Daily,”the accessories in this new pattern will come in three shades of green and be sold at the pop-up Vuitton store in the Brooklyn Museum (part of the Murakami retrospective kicking off tomorrow) before selling at all other LV stores. Eager to see a handbag in the new print! 🙂
