Do you still remember the LV Monogramouflage that I wrote about last month? More than half of handbaggers do not seem to love the new print. Will you change your mind after seeing these pictures? I got these pictures from a very nice person (who wants her name to be anonymous). I really want to thank her for sharing the pictures with all of us. By the way, the first two pictures are canvas and the last one is denim. I can’t wait to see these bags in person!
The Poll I started about two weeks ago, “What is your most favorite designer brand?”, showed that most of the Handbaggers are big fans of Louis Vuitton. So let me introduce to you today the Louis Vuitton Monogram Motard Beforedark & Louis Vuitton Monogram Motard Afterdark.
Both bags are designed by Richard Prince again! Let’s have a round of applause to Richard for his wonderful work! The Beforedark bag on the left has a detachable chain strap with a size of 13.2″ x 7.1″ x 4.7″. You can carry it on your shoulder or as a hand-held. And the Afterdark clutch on the right is smaller with the dimension of only 3.1″ x 7.3″ x 9″ and it also comes in poudre color. Both clutches are made in monogram motard leather with flap closure and golden hardware. I think both bags are great for evening or dinner. But I prefer the Afterdark because of its smaller size, plus I don’t really like the chain strap on the Beforedark. Sorry! Avaliable at Louis Vuitton.
The LV Jokes Bags was sold out, the Pochette Bonbon Rose purse is the recent popular topic among handbag blogs, What’s next? How about this Firebird bag? These bags are all in the Summer 08 collection and designed by Marc Jacobs together with the American artist, Richard Prince. If you asked me whether I love the new Firebird bag, I would tell you I don’t know. But I found that people are very crazy for this baby. I really admire Marc Jacobs for taking the bold to make changes, adding value to this luxury brand and keeping LV brand vibrant. No doubt why he becomes so famous.
The velvet trimmed Firebird, featuring LV classic monogram, is big! Dimensions are 16.1″ x 14.1″ x 3.5″. The new shape, the creative design and the color combination really make this bag alluring and special. But the price is stunning, too! Is it worth $5400? Well…the fact that it is currently out of stock online should give you the answer.
